Courses at Code Club

We are starting two new instructor-led courses at Code Club – starting on the 5th March.

Both courses are 5 weeks long.

Scratch 4:00 to 5:00 – this course is aimed at users with some experience who want to improve their scratch skills or just need a refresher. We’ll cover loops, variables, broadcasting messages, custom blocks and clones.How much scratch do you need to know? If you can code up a sprite to move it around the screen with the arrow keys, customise costumes, and set up a variable to keep track of the user’s score, then you be ready to take this course. If you don’t have the scratch basics then don’t worry, we have another course starting soon after that will start from the beginning.

Python 5:00 to 6:00 – learn python by experimenting with code. Each week you’ll be starting from a working game in python, we’ll discuss how the code works and you’ll have the chance to tinker with it to improve it in various ways.
