We’re excited to announce something big for the island’s budding engineers and coders — Code Club Isle of Man is launching a local robotics competition this autumn, leading up to the first Isle of Man Robotics Championship in November 2025!
This is your chance to dive into the world of robotics, team up with friends, and take on exciting challenges using LEGO robotics kits. Whether you’re already a robot-building pro or just curious to try something new, this event is designed to be fun, inclusive and inspiring for students across the island.

Why Take Part?
Robotics is more than gears and code — it’s about creativity, collaboration, and solving real-world problems. Our competition will mirror the spirit of the global WRO, giving Isle of Man students a platform to:
- Design and build autonomous robots
- Tackle problem-solving missions inspired by the WRO 2025 theme
- Work in teams and learn project-based STEM skills
- Present their solutions to local judges and celebrate their achievements
Who Can Enter?
The competition is aimed at student aged between 11 and 15 years of age, and we welcome:
- School teams
- Community group entries
- Independent students (we’ll help you find a team!)
No previous experience is needed — if you’re keen to learn, we’re here to help. We’ll also be running free training sessions and mentoring opportunities in the lead-up to the competition.
