Linked Rooms and CyberPatriot session

We’re getting ready for another session at Code Club this week, though some of us are away due to the school mid-term holidays. However, the HTML/CSS class will be going ahead as planned (Thank you Andrew) with the class working on a module called Linked Room. It uses HTML to create a simple ‘adventure game’ type environment but focuses the class on how to use hyperlinks and how to start building a site made of multiple pages. Good fun for all!

The other session of note is the CyberCenturion competition that the Code Club team will be taking part in. In a similar fashion to the last couple of years, we have a team that will be competing in a UK wide Cyber Security challenge called Cybercenturion. There are a huge number of teams taking part this year, but the team has been meeting regularly to skill up for these sessions so we’re expecting a good result. This team is meeting on Saturday too, so we wish them the best of luck! We’ll let everyone know how we fared after the event.
