This Saturday we’re continuing our series of HTML/CSS and Scratch classes. At 4:00pm we’ll be running our HTML/CSS class with a fun ‘Create a Robot’ project. This will be followed by a Scratch class at 5:00pm where the class will be building a memory game. We’re more than half way through on our classes and will be finished by the end of March.
We’ll also have a number of spaces available for Robotics, 3D design, learning .Net and a host of other activities running at Code Club at the moment. The drone project is progressing nicely and the Linux group are happily refurbishing a number of machines. If you want to come and join us, just drop in and see what we’re up to.
As mentioned before, we’ll looking to complete our Scratch and HTML/CSS classes by the end of March. The time has come for us to change the format of what we’re doing and see if we can spread our work over other places on the Isle of Man. The next set of classes we are planning are aimed at older students/adults and will probably be run in Douglas. More about this in the next few weeks as we finalise our arrangements, but wanted to start spreading the word that we’ll be leaving Barrule house at the end of March.
In the meantime, we’re always open to ideas on different things to run and different places we can run our activities from, so if you have any topics you would like to learn about, or have any spaces available that we can use, please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
