We’ve got lots going on at Code Club again this Saturday. Our HTML class will be starting to look at CSS at 4:00pm while our Scratch class will be doing their always popular Ghostbusters session at 5:00pm. Our C# self-study group is also growing as more people join in, so lots to learn from a coding point of view.

We’ll also have a number of hardware projects running at Code Club. Our 3D printing room is usually quite busy, while there are also a number of spaces working on robotics projects, from using Lego Mindstorms, all the way to building a drone from scratch. We have a group building Linux machines for those interested in hardware and operating systems, putting together a number of machines for programming Arduinos. And we also have a group experimenting with radio and getting in touch with people all over Europe. The Code Bus will also be available this Saturday for free work and play.

One new announcement, we’ll be running our 3rd Radio Foundation course on the following dates:

  • Sunday 5th March 2017  09:00 – 13:00
  • Sunday 12th March 2017  09:00 – 13:00
  • Sunday 4th April 2017 09:00 -12:00 with exam at 12:00 – 13:00

Places are already filling up for this, so if you’re interested in starting in this new field, please get in touch with Nigel at gd6afb@connectaphone.co.uk
