First of all I want to wish you all a Happy New Year from all of us at Code Club. We hope the year brings you all you desire, gives you opportunity to get better at coding or, if you’ve never tried it, becomes the year you delve into this exciting new experience.
Code Club is back in session this Saturday (9th January), though we won’t have any formal coding classes scheduled this week. Instead, we’re using the session to tidy up our machines and get ready for the new classes starting next week. We’re still available for those who want to come and code though, as we have a number of self-directed Hour of Code sessions that can be attempted, including coding with Anna and Elsa and the Minecraft Hour of Code.
We’ll also have Lego Mindstorms available, wearables to play with, Virtual Reality headsets, 3D printing and all the other usual goodies that you can come and experiment with, learn about new technologies and build things for the world around you.
Next week we’ll be starting a Scratch class (currently at capacity) and a Java class (still have a couple of places), so we’ll be back to our regular programming for a while. See you at Code Club!
