This Saturday will be the first time Code Club will be running at Barrule House, and we’re looking forward to our first session down South. If you’re not sure where you’re going, we have a map here for you to use. We have some things planned for this Saturday, but I’m sure the programme will change based on who turns up and what facilities still need tweaking so bear with us while we get up to speed.
So, what do we have planned? The MICTA Lounge will be dedicated to Robotics as the Lego Mindstorms team embark on a new and exciting project. The lecture room will be dedicated to Scratch and the ‘smaller room that doesn’t have a name yet’ will be home to the 3D Design team and 3D printers. Besides this, the CyberSecurity team will be meeting early for Round 2 of the CyberCenturion competition and if anyone wants to see the work that’s happening at Fablab (next door), we can organise a small group to go and see how the work is going. As usual, we’re trying to pack this all between 4:00pm and 6:00pm so hope you can join us!
Last but not least, we’re planning a new Scratch course to start in January and we’ll also planning a Java course. The Scratch class is aimed at novices, while the Java course will require previous coding experience. If you’re interested in either of these, please drop me a line at email@example.com.
See you Saturday!
