This Saturday we're taking some time to look at the fantastic hardware platform that is Arduino. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for anyone making interactive projects and lends itself to a whole bunch of applications, from robot control, to wearable projects and all sorts of other weird and wacky ideas. This talk will introduce you to what Arduino is, how it can be used and include a number of ideas to demonstrate where it has been used. If you're an avid hardware hacker, or just interested in learning more, come and join us for this special talk. As usual, the rest of Code Club will be open for all our usual activities, from 3D design to a Makerspace packed with kit for you to play with. We'll also be trying out a Scratch masterclass for those who aren't interested in hardware hacking. We have Lego Mindstorms, Google Cardboard and 3D Printers amongst other things you can learn from. Come join us!
