This Saturday at Code Club we’ll be picking up a security theme and taking a closer look at passwords. We’ll be looking at why we need passwords, what makes a good password and then have a look at the dark art of cracking passwords and bypassing security. Should be a fun session aimed at young and old, particularly as we all need passwords nowadays and learning how to manage them is becoming a really important life skill.
Besides this, we also have a Scratch class for kids, Robotics with Lego Mindstorms, 3D design and 3D printing and other special interest groups around the Club. If you have some technology you’d like to play with or have have something you’d like to demonstrate please come and join us.
In the meantime, just a reminder that we are closed on Saturday 4th April as this is Easter weekend, and we’ll be starting HTML/CSS classes for kids, Scratch for kids and Microsoft Publisher for adults shortly after Easter. We’re also planning a couple of special session on designing 3D models using Blender right after Easter, so watch this space!
