Last Saturday was fantastic, with Python and Scratch classes continuing and even more hardware for people to play with! If you haven’t tried the Ocoulus Rift, you have to ask Gary to show it to you. And with others building 3D printers, SOCs and robots, there was lots to see and do. We also had a couple of excellent lessons upstairs, handouts below for those who didn’t get a copy:
We are continuing with our schedule this week, with another lesson in our Beginner Scratch and Advanced Python series, same as last week; and will have a selection of hardware and software for you to play with too. We’re also starting 2 new courses. We have an Beginner Excel course for adults which is fully subscribed, run by the talented Shem Allanson. If you ever need help with anything technical, you can get her details on her website, she’s always happy to help and runs training in a variety of subjects.
We’re also starting a “Robotics with Lego Mindstorms” class this Sunday. The Lego Mindstorms course will be held at the St John’s Mill Conference Centre (right next to Tynwald Mills) on Sundays between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. It will start on the 1st February and will run for 5 weeks. We may still be able to fit you in, so if you’re interested please email firstname.lastname@example.org. More information can be found in the Robotics Course.
See you on Saturday!
