This Saturday we’re hosting a talk called ‘Communicating with Satellites’ which will look at different types of satellites and their history. Matty, who is giving the talk, will also be looking at amateur radio satellites, finished with details on the FUNCube satellite launched in November last year – and the ‘FUNCube Dongle’ – a software defined receiver, for this and other satellite data.

We’ll also be running our usual classes and the 3D corner will be up and running as usual. A reminder that our ‘Introduction to Robotics’ class will be starting on the 1st of November and we still have spaces. It’s free to attend and aimed at adults and any students over 16. Unfortunately our Python for Kids class is now full, but based on the interest we had, we’ll definetly be running it again next year.

See you on Saturday!
