Node.js is a software platform for scalable server-side and networking applications. Node.js applications are designed to maximize throughput and efficiency, using non-blocking I/O and asynchronous events.

This Saturday (26th April), we’ll be running a session aimed at experienced developers looking to extend their knowledge by learning about new platforms and tools. Please bring your laptop along as this will be a hand-on session.

Session format:
4:00 – 4:30 – Meet and greet – Setup node on your machine
4:30 – 5:30 – Instructor led session by Andrew Gleave (Red Robot Studios)
5:30 – 6:00 – Free time for group to play

Please note that you need programming experience and should be familiar with Javascript in order to benefit from this session.
